COOKIE POLICY

Last updated 29/11/2024

This Cookie Policy explains how process benchmarking limited (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) use cookies and similar technologies on our website www.processbenchmarking.co.uk

Specifically, we do not use cookies to collect personal information, or information that becomes personal information if we combine it with other information. There are a number of essential cookies associated with our contact form. Information given on emails generated from the website is not retained by the website once the email is passed to the email network and the website closed.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

Why do we use cookies?

The cookies on our website are used to facilitate our contact form and no information or analytics is retained beyond that event.

Analytics cookies

While we do not utilise Google Analytics, there are cookies embedded within our contact form.

Some cookies and similar technologies help sites and apps understand how their visitors engage with their services. For example, Google Analytics uses a set of cookies to collect information on behalf of businesses which use the Google Analytics service and report site usage statistics to them without personally identifying individual visitors.

Our contact form uses _ga, _ga_V9GN4DGJ8Z, _gat_gtag_UA_158823023_1, and _gid.

‘_ga’, the main cookie used by Google Analytics, enables the service to distinguish one visitor from another and lasts for two years. Each ‘_ga’ cookie is unique to the specific property, so it cannot be used to track a given user or browser across unrelated websites.

The contact form also utilises reCAPTCHA which uses _GRECAPTCHA, a necessary functional cookie provided by Google which expires in six months.

More detail on these cookies can be found at Privacy Policy – Privacy & Terms – Google.

What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?

Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We do not use other, similar technologies, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs").

Local Shared Objects?

We do not use so-called "Flash Cookies" (also known as Local Shared Objects or "LSOs") to, among other things, collect and store information about your use of our services, for fraud prevention, or for other site operations.

Targeted advertising?

We do not enable targeted advertising.

How often will you update this Cookie Policy?

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please therefore revisit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.

The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.

Where can I get further information?
